Cutters made for Paul Garmirian. “The most precise guillotine cigar cutter ever made. The cutter should rest comfortable on the cigar head and cut with a slow push forward, ‘like butter,’ as I’ve heard from countless customers. After precision grinding and laser edging, the blade is crimped into position by hand and affixed to 1/1000th of an inch.”

It was designed in the early 1990’s for up to 50 gauge. The cutter is meant to sit just above the edge of the cap and provide the cleanest cut possible.  It can cut a 52 if you press down firmly, or, in more than one cut, at a slight angle. It can obviously cut a larger gauge cigar if it is a figurado (pointed head like a torpedo or belicoso).
